A face gathers from plants, tools and cassette tapes. Two eyes meet us through the acrylic while other fragments occupy different depths.

Each realization is hand-formed and individually finished. The work carries the duo’s grasshopper mark and is signed, numbered and dated when it leaves the studio.

The edition is limited to ten numbered realizations and two artist’s proofs across these three authorized formats. Each realization uses one number from the same edition, regardless of its dimensions.

THE IMAGE IS FREE

The Image Is Free names a studio method: a motif can return in another material, scale or combination. Each physical work is identified separately and keeps its stated edition or unique status.

The stated edition belongs to this acrylic-box work. The composition remains active in the studio's working archive.

The digital composition remains part of the artists’ working archive and may return, rescaled, fragmented, layered or translated, within future works. No further identical acrylic-box realizations of The Magnifying Glass will be produced beyond the stated edition.
