Walking on Time carries digitally composed images onto transparent film, with screenprinted layers and protective varnish on both sides. The works can hang freely or be framed between two panes of art glass. Light passes through the image and casts its layers into the room.

Selected compositions include Are We Real, Madonna of the Water, New York Dream, Norwegian Wood, Mother Earth - Pacha Mama and Love You to Death.

PRESENTATION

The works can hang unframed, open to the light and the room. Framed between two panes of art glass, each image still appears to float.

For framing, we recommend a white oak frame with a 20 × 45 mm profile, holding the print between two panes of art glass. The transparent margins remain visible, allowing the image to appear suspended within the frame.

Each acquired work is supplied unframed, rolled in a protective tube, with a certificate, the screenprinted grasshopper mark and a discreet signature. Framing is arranged by the collector. Artist’s proofs are used for exhibitions.

EDITION

Each edition comprises ten numbered realizations and two artist’s proofs of a specified composition on transparent film, with screenprinted layers and protective varnish on both sides. The edition is fixed and will never be extended or reissued in this configuration.

The edition is shared across all authorized sizes: ten numbered works and two artist’s proofs in total for each composition. Any other authorized size offered by the studio is drawn from the same fixed edition; it does not create a new edition. A change of size, framing or hand-applied screenprinted details does not create an additional edition of the same composition.

The accompanying certificate records the composition, materials, dimensions and edition number.

THE IMAGE IS FREE

The Image Is Free names a studio method: a motif can return in another material, scale or combination. Each physical work is identified separately and keeps its stated edition or unique status.

Each new constellation is a distinct work, separately identified and documented. It does not reproduce the editioned work in this form or add to its edition: ten numbered works and two artist’s proofs, and no more.
