Walking on Time
EXPOSURE / TRANSPARENCY / ROOM
The image has outlived its date.
A birdcage acquires eyes and furniture legs; ostriches borrow human feet. The laugh catches on something uneasy. Across cyanotypes, screenprinted layers and digital collages, familiar bodies lose their bearings. The Endless Same gives everyday repetition an empty, isolating form. In Targeted Through the Trees, concealment meets a gaze intent on identifying its target.
Out of Balance sets three tall, translucent panels among the visitors. Bodies, buildings and landscapes overlap with the images beyond them. Three of twelve planned panels are realized in this ongoing series, begun in 2025. The installation shown is from Walking on Time at Askersunds Konsthall, 2025: 250 × 70 cm per panel. Dimensions adapt to the site; panels can be shown individually or in groups.
From cyanotype to transparent film

We made our own sun

During the dark months, we made our own sun to expose cyanotypes in the studio. Images from those experiments later returned as digital collages on transparent film, with screenprinted layers and varnish on both sides. Suspended freely or held between two panes of art glass, they let light and shadows into the work.
